@daTruChosen “same dominance asserted”, alright bro, u sound like u got it all figured out, congrats.

  4. illumikiller187 says:

@illumikiller187 i just hate how everyone, whatever race they are, acts like their race is the most dominant. Fuck that, i dont care if u say that proof is in sports/fighting/etc. I live in a town where its all brown pride, thats so much bullshit, im part german part indian, ive never made shit about that. I think all it comes down to, is mother fuckers are selfish, they want to have the best team, whatever race they are they want to be the most dominant, thats selfish in my opinion

  5. illumikiller187 says:

@daTruChosen no matter what race, i bet if BJ Penn set his mind and actually trained on his stamina, he would beat anyone, black/white/mxican/asian/dominican/etc. in the light/welter weight division. U can say black power, brown pride, etc. whatever u want, in the end its the man whos hungrier, more adrenaline, technique wise in the fight. What about George Chuvalo, the canadian boxer who put Muhammad Ali in the emergency room with bleeding kidneys, nobody ever knocked him out in 95 fights.

  6. illumikiller187 says:

@daTruChosen i just disagree with u making this about race. There are many holes and things i can see in your argument that is bullshit, u can believe that all u want. There are certain things genes/traits that black dudes have, i can see that. But, ive been all over the world bro, Japan, Germany, S. Korea, Hong Kong. All i can say is, u have your things u are dominant in, but it doesnt mean even if u train your hardest, there will always be somebody just as good or better.

@daTruChosen MMA is just as dependent on reflexes…. This is a silly argument you are making.

  8. daTruChosen says:

@illumikiller187 Furthermore, it would actually be EASIER for black fighters to be successful past their prime in MMA because the matches are shorter (three or five rounds in MMA as opposed to eight, ten or twelve rounds in boxing), and MMA is less dependent on reaction time (which is the first athletic attribute decline with age) than boxing, which crucially requires timing reflexes for the more subtle nuances like slipping, ducking, head-turning to avoid punches, pivoting and countering.

  9. daTruChosen says:

@illumikiller187 You’re right, it hasn’t… yet. But if the success of fighters like Bernhard Hopkins and James Toney (obviously not in MMA, but he’s been competitive in light of advancing age and weight) is any indicator, black fighters could easily compete far beyond their prime, and you’d see the same dominance asserted. Of course, Dana White wouldn’t dare risk the marketability of his brand by allowing older black fighters to compete at a high level; the fan base is still primarily white.

  10. illumikiller187 says:

@daTruChosen yeah, but u will never see a black fighter make it as far as Randy Couture or Dan Henderson, in their 40′s competing against competition of best in the world. i have yet to see the day that happens.

  11. Sev660 says:

Roy Nelson is best fighter FYI, just to break any arguments. Anyways, Jimy Hettes and Nam Phan gonna go far. They were really tight also happened to wreck shit. Jimy was pro, but Nam was tactical and is good none the less.

When the going gets tough, Brock Lesnar says fuck it I’m outta here.

  13. fleetcadi1 says:

@daTruChosen so your not interested in trading racist jabs but u statse that Be it tennis, golf, or MMA, when we play… we win. Sport is a unique arena in that, once access is attained, the myth of white superiority is exposed and disproven… usually by us…WTF is that and niggers been in there sence UFC 1 only 2 niggers hold belts in the UFC and theres 7 weight classes go back to boxing and watch ur faggot james phony get fucked like a prison bitch like randy couture did him !!!!!!

  14. daTruChosen says:

@fleetcadi1 I’m not interested in trading racist jabs, dude… I’m really not. I’m just stating OBVIOUS current changing trends in the UFC. It’s similar to nearly any sport we choose to take an active interest in that may have been previously inaccessible to us; whether due to disinterest, racism, exposure, etc. Be it tennis, golf, or MMA, when we play… we win. Sport is a unique arena in that, once access is attained, the myth of white superiority is exposed and disproven… usually by us.

Frank Mir Matt Mitrione Shane Carwin Brendan Schaub Chad Griggs Sean Loeffler Eric Wisely Rich Franklin Forrest Griffin Stephan Bonnar Dan Henderson Chris Leben Michael Bisping Brian Stann Chael Sonnen Josh Koscheck Jon Fitch Rick Story Kenny Florian Spencer Fisher Donald Cerrone Sean Sherk Frankie Edgar YOU GO AHEAD AND COUNT OUT ALL THOSE WHITE AMERICAN FIGHTERS daTruChosen NOTICE how i didnt even put in cain or the diaz brothers or alot more cause i just wanted to KEEP IT WHITE :)

  16. fleetcadi1 says:

@daTruChosen this is the same guy who thinks james tony is the hardess in the world when randy couture took his ass out in the first round you keep up with your black panther version of the ufc the only one who good whos black is rashad evans thats it remember these names and keep counting them out :)

  17. daTruChosen says:

If not for the globalization of entertainment, the heterogeneity of UFC fighters would actually harm its marketability. Despite the benefit that diversity has lent to the UFC’s popularity, with as much lip service as Dana White has paid in the past to white champs (Hughes, Franklin, Griffin, Faber, Lidell, Couture) and even undeserving losers (Chael Sonnen), and the measured praise given to non-white ones, you can clearly see his underlying vision was the establishment of a mostly white UFC.

  18. daTruChosen says:

Even outside of the black fighters and champions (Jones, Silva, Evans, Jackson), the incidence of dominant American born white fighters has become scarce since the obsolescence of Matt Hughes and, with him, the “shoot, then ground-and-pound” as a prime mode of attack. Hughes was, in fact, the last great white champion. Lesnar was a side show. All the best white fighters are European and Eurasian (Dutch, German, Scandinavian, and Russians, mostly), and seem to show little interest in the UFC

  19. daTruChosen says:

Where are all the white, American born champions, now? Not the original vision of Zuffa and Dana White when they took over a fledgling organization… I promise you that. Back then the Lion’s Den and Miletich camp fighters were the alpha dogs. Now that those of predominant West African GENETIC (not ethnic) ancestry have taken an active interest in MMA, their combative and athletic superiority has revealed itself (as it always does), and the cream of that crop has risen to the top.
